The NXP Cup is a world-wide competition in which student teams build and program a model racecar to autonomously race against the clock. The winner is chosen based on who completes the track the fastest without moving off it. Students have the opportunity to program embedded processors, develop control algorithms, and explore a variety of sensors, like line scan cameras and accelerometers.

Applying Model-Based Design with MATLAB and Simulink helps your team to efficiently develop control, signal processing, image and video processing, and mechatronics algorithms for use with the embedded systems available from NXP, such as the NXP Freedom Board.
