Hello!
I am currently working on my senior project and it involves machine learning. I was hoping someone could give me advice on where to start with matlab for AI/ML.
  • Does matlab have the doumentation for someone starting from ground zero to thrive?
  • Is there enough tutorials?
  • Is the library vast enough for success in signal processing and pattern matching?
Thanks in advance!

Matlab has an excellent documentation site including several examples for every Toolbox. Additionally there are a lot of webinars, which are perfectly to get started:
Just browse the MathWorks.com site and you will find a plenty of ressources.

I believe the answers to your questions are
  • yes
  • yes
  • yes
in that order. One possible starting point is MATLAB for Machine Learning.

Another starting point is the tutorials. The MATLAB Onramp tutorial and the Deep Learning Onramp tutorial may be of use.
