Matlab plugin and Rstudio packages

Hi, i'm interested in knowing whether if Rstudio packages can be converted into matlab pugins ?

There are some equivalent R functions in MATLAB (e.g. here). But there is no tool that can automatically and perfectly convert a complete R package executable in MATLAB. There are interfaces as far as I know which allow you to call MATLAB from R or the other way around (I haven't found any of them flawless).

In my opinion, the best practice is to use them separately. But if you are designing a pipeline in MATLAB and you need to run part of your analysis with some R packages, you can write proper R functions and call them within MATLAB, for instance:

system('path\to\R.exe CMD BATCH myRcode.r') % for windows
