Simulink を起動すると、「機能 'RTWTesting' は既に登録されています」のエラーが出て起動できないのはなぜですか？

Simulinkを起動しようとしたところ、以下のようなエラーダイアログが表示され、起動できませんでした。PCの再起動も行いましたが、改善されません。
エラー: open (line 146)
機能'RTWTesting'は既に登録されています。

MATLAB の設定フォルダ、もしくは MATLAB パスが正常に動作していない可能性があります。
まずは、下記 URL に示される手順にて、MATLAB 設定フォルダの再構築と、MATLAB 検索パスの初期化をお試しください。
これらを行っても、問題が解決しない場合、インストールに失敗している可能性があります。
以下に示される方法にて、MATLAB をアンインストールし、管理者権限にてMATLAB を再インストールすることをお試しください。
