I am using an NI-DAQ device with Data Acquisition Toolbox and I'm trying to install the "Data Acquisition Toolbox Support Package for National Instruments NI-DAQmx Devices" add-on.
However, the support package installation fails with an error. Is there any way to install the required NI-DAQmx libraries?

The support package installation can fail for a number of reasons, including:
As a workaround, the required NI-DAQmx vendor driver can be installed separately, as described below.
Note that a successful installation of the "Data Acquisition Toolbox Support Package for National Instruments NI-DAQmx Devices" is not necessary for using NI-DAQmx compatible DAQ devices with Data Acquisition Toolbox.
Follow these steps:
1. Determine the required NI-DAQmx version
The correct NI-DAQmx library version for your specific MATLAB release must be installed.
Check the Third-Party Requirements in the following page to see which version of NI-DAQmx should be installed for different version of MATLAB:
For example for MATLAB R2019b, the required NI-DAQmx version is 18.5.
Note that the latest version of NI-DAQmx may not be supported in the current release of MATLAB.
2. Download and run the required NI-DAQmx version setup program from the National Instruments website:
Note that: * you might have to run the NI-DAQmx setup program from a local drive (not a network drive) * you might have to run the NI-DAQmx setup program as administrator

The table with the required NI-DAQmx version per MATLAB release is at the bottom of the page https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/nidaqmx.html

The default location from the NIDAQmx setup program is a good choice. On my machine I see NI software is installed under "C:\Program Files\National Instruments" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments".
