Which version are you using and you want a 2D plot in 3D space or 3D plot in 3D space?

x1 = 0:0.01:1 ; % use your limits
x2 = 0:0.01:1 ; % use your limits
[x1,x2] = meshgrid(x1,x2) ;
y=2*x1.^2 + 2*x2.^2 +10*(1.1*x2.^2 +3*x1.^2).^0.5 ;
surf(x1,x2,y)
