Hello,
I have a bit of a problem when simulating a complex pulley mechanism in Simscape.
I have this 3 pulley mechanism, Pulley A is the major top pulley, pulley B is the lower one and pulley C is mounted directly on pulley B.
To achieve this initial state my cable goes from pulley A to pulley B to pulley C and back to pulley B (it is then fixed at a point on the radius of pulley B). To start, the simulation works, but when the bottom pulley rotates by 19° counter clock-wise the first part of the cable unwraps and hence the cable goes from A to C to B. This is correct, however as the cable unwraps from the right side of pulley B, the simulation stops because the pulley has unwrapped.
Is there any setting that will allow the simulation to continue even if the right side of pulley b unwraps (it is supposed to unwrap!).
Thank you very much for the patience!

Hi Federico - through release R2019a, you are not permitted to have pulleys completely unwrap in Simscape Multibody. Hopefully we will be able to address this request in an upcoming release.
