We have a reference architecture available in both AWS and Azure to assist with the setup of a network license manager in the cloud.

These templates will provide a step-by-step process that creates a cloud image with the license manager pre-installed for you, you just need to provide the license file. Once you have the license manager set up in the cloud, you need to make sure nothing is blocking traffic between your MATLAB client and the license manager. Instructions for accomplishing that are found here:

If the reference architecture is not something you can utilize, a static MAC address in your cloud environment will be required. The steps to setting up the license manager for any MathWorks product in the cloud can be found here:
