What is the best matlab data structure to represent a decision tree?

I want to be able to access the level of the tree and the number of nodes and the information of the nodes after a split. What is the best data structure to use?
Please explain in some detail and in simple terms. I am new to matlab.

It seems the link is dead (for newer releases) due to the split into separate classification trees and regression trees pages.
