Hi all,
I am having some issues in using the optimization toolbox.
I am using two devices with my Mathworks account and license. On my notebook (matlab 2022a) everything works normal and I can use the optimization toolbox without issue. On a server (matlab 2021a), which I am using via remote desktop, I cant access the optimizaiton toolbox and it provides the error:
"'fmincon' requires Optimization Toolbox."
The add-on explorer lists the optimization toolbox as installed:
I have tried re-activating the matlab license but the problem persists.
Any input would be highly appreciated.

It sounds like the server isn't recognizing that Optimization Toolbox is licensed. I recommend first contacting the administrator for your license (if this is a school or business's server, it's probably someone in the IT department) and ask them to help investigate. If you and the license administrator can't resolve the problem, my next step would be for you two to contact Technical Support and work with them to investigate the license issue.
