Why do I receive the error "Stateflow Onramp failed to launch. Unable to check out a Stateflow license, which is required by Stateflow Onramp." inside of MATLAB?

This error may appear if you do not have Stateflow both installed and licensed. Use the command "ver -support" in the MATLAB Command Window to confirm that the product is both installed and licensed. If the product does not appear in the output, then it is not installed. If it appears, but says "License Unknown", then there isn't a license for the product.
If the product appears with a valid license number, then run this command:
> status = license('test','Stateflow')
If it returns with a 0, then you are unable to checkout a seat on the license you are using.
