Degrees of freedom to supply to finv

5 views (last 30 days)
Hi community,
I have one set of data generated from exactly one experiment. I have a model that satisfactorily describes this data. I want to determine the inverse cumulative distribution function evaluated at the probability value of .05. Will the degrees of freedom for the numerator and denominator be 1 in both cases?
Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Also,The below example shows how to estimate the cumulative distribution function (CDF) from data in a nonparametric or semiparametric way. It also illustrates the inversion method for generating random numbers from the estimated CDF.
