What accuracy can I expect from the Lidar-Camera calibration toolbox?

This given under the assumption that I have enough and and well-balanced samples.
2.) Is there a way to change/alter the calibration target? My target has a checkerboard pattern, but also has a boundary. Therefore the size extracted with the lidar data is different than with the camera data.
Thanks

				1) There is no specific number as to what accuracy one can get as it depends on several factors that includes quality of calibration targets, precision of the camera sensors, etc. If we perform the procedure very cautiously, and our calibration targets are high quality, we can get a sub pixel level accuracy.
2) Yes, it is possible to change the calibration target. The toolbox supports a variety of target types. A slight modification to the calibration process will be necessary if the calibration target is changed, however Lidar Camera Calibration toolbox has the adaptability to accommodate a variety of target kinds and configuration.
