6 views (last 30 days)

Oracle support for Java is awful.
Does MATLAB have a timeline to remove all Java dependencies?

There was a bug in a previous version in 2021. It appears to have been fixed since then.

The Release Notes for release R2021a state "Java® packages and subpackages that currently ship with MATLAB will not be available in MATLAB in a future release." but does not state a timeline for when those packages and subpackages will no longer be available.
