Why do I receive a dispatch exception error when connecting to FactSet using the Datafeed Toolbox?

I use the FACTSET function to connect to the FactSet data server but I receive the following error:

 Invoke Error, Dispatch Exception: The parameter is incorrect.

I have checked that all of my FactSet specific information is correct (i.e. username, password, etc.).

This change has been incorporated into the documentation in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous releases, read below for any additional information:

This error occurs because you are either providing an incorrect password, or you are not licensed for FactSet's FAST interface. The Datafeed Toolbox uses FactSet's FAST interface to connect to FactSet's data server. Certain other applications, including Excel, do not use this interface.

To connect to FactSet using the Datafeed Toolbox, contact FactSet to obtain a FAST/Fetch userid and password.
