Stateflow Design Patterns: Switch-Case and Reusable Flow Charts
In this webinar we discuss three design patterns for modeling state machines in Stateflow. The first design pattern shown is a new pattern added to the Stateflow Pattern Wizard for creating switch-case constructs for flow diagrams. The second pattern is also a switch-case pattern, but for states instead of flow diagrams. The last pattern illustrates how to increase the readability of charts by encapsulating complex conditions and transition actions into functions.
This webinar is for people who are unfamiliar with, or new to Stateflow, as well as for current users. For new users, these design patterns can be used as starting points when developing new models. For those who already use Stateflow, the design patterns can reveal new possibilities for improving existing Stateflow charts.
