The Election-based Optimization Algorithm (EOA) is a metaheuristic optimization algorithm inspired by the election process in democratic systems. It was proposed by Tengfei Zhang et al. in 2016. EOA simulates the process of elections, where candidates (solutions) compete to become the leader (best solution).
