Homer is a population-based metaheuristic optimization algorithm inspired by the nesting behavior of birds, proposed by Esmat Rashedi, Hossein Nezamabadi-pour, and Saeid Saryazdi in 2009. The algorithm mimics the behavior of homing pigeons, where the birds return to their nests after foraging for food.
