matlab solving equation's method

Hi How Matlab chose a method to solve equation? I mean the algorythm for choosing method.. newton? secant? Thanks

There is no algorithm for choosing methods. You have to specify what kind of equations you want to solve. You can use different functions depending on your problem

I mean when the input is f(x)=0 , HOW matlab solve this? does it choose Newton's method or Muller or....? WHICH one? How matlab selects methd?
