Transform a Numpy array of a mask

Hi! So i am trying to Transform a 1022x1022x3 that contain [boolean , boolean , boolean] elements to a 1022x1022x1 that only contains the boolean at Position [1]. how could I so this?

Assume A is your 3D matrix (1024x1024x3)
A1 = A(:,:,1); % extract first matrix
