Simulink qpOASES optimal objective function value (fval) is negative

Hey there,
I am currently wokring on an MPC project with a qpOASES solver. In some cases I receive an negative optimal objective function value while the ExitFlag is still 0. I am wondering if that is an legitemate value and if not what could be the cause of this.
