            I often get this: Warning: Unable to interpret LaTeX string
For example,
plot(rand(10,1));
AX=legend('$\text{A,B}$');
set(AX,'Interpreter','Latex');
What work arounds are there? Is there a list of supported characters?

        The MATLAB LaTeX interpreter is a fully functional LaTeX system. It is based on the article class so all of those macros are available also. It does not support any macros defined in packages and loading packages is difficult. Since \text is a macro defined in the AMS packages it is not available.

        Thanks, is there any other way to access that symbol in Matlab? e.g., in a plot title or elsewhere - or are these all macros like \text?
