How can I implement computation step in simulink?

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi there,
I have to implement the following block in simulink. But I am not sure how can I implement these exp functions. Do I have to implement them as laplace transform format?
I know that e^(-at) = 1/(s+a).
But what will be the function for e^(-sTc)?

Hi,
Depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you want to implement it in Laplace form, for the first block your a is = Tc so the Laplace transform would be 1/(s+Tc). Similarly for the second block, a = Tm so the Laplace transfer would be 1/(s+Tm).
