Texture analysis MRI images

Hi,

I have to do image processing on a lot of MRI images. The aim is to diagnose renal fibrosis. I need your help to get a program which allows me to cut out the kidneys and then to do texture analysis on the kidneys to see the difference between a healthy kidney and a diseased kidney. Normally, I have all the toolbox on matlab.

There is no renal fibrosis toolbox or example code. Look in the medical section of the Image Processing bibliography here for papers. Pick one paper that looks good and code it up.
