I am doing a simulation with a pil block and a 28379D dsp and once the block is generated, when I put play, m, and some of these errors appear:
  • Invalid application id (2) received during SIL/PIL communication between Simulink and the target application. Check the rtiostream implementation for the target application.
  • Invalid payload size (540095093) received during SIL/PIL communication between Simulink and the target application. Check the rtiostream implementation for the target application.
  • Or error to generate all binary outputs

Hi
I got the same error and I change the COM port for PIL mode in Simulink Configuration.
You should ativate the load VCP at advanced pane of XDS 100 Clas Auxiliary Port in windows device manager.
Than you will find a new COM port.

Issue persistent on my end as well. Not the problem with COM port. Can it be because of the size of the PIL simulation?

I was able to solve the issue by taking and replacing the PIL block one by one. If I try to replace all (more than 1 as well) blocks with their PIL, it shows the error. Doing one at a time works to be fine. Little tedious though.
