Web site preferences in help browser

2 views (last 30 days)
I just installed R2021a, and selected the web option for the help. On every session, the first time I start the help browser (e.g. using 'doc min') I get a pop up that asks me to select a region. When you click on the "select a region" button your broswer is opened with that web site, and then you get a cookie consent to agree to. This is really irritating. Closing the popup with the cross in the top right hand corner is slightly better, but the fact this shows up each session is still annoying. Pic below.
How can I stop it?
thanks

Is your browser clearing the cookies?

In my web browser (Firefox) the regional selection is remembered between sessions and I don't get this problem. In the MATLAB help browser it doesn't seem to store this and I always get the pop up window.

Hi Andrew. Thank you for your question. We are aware of this issue and will be rolling out a fix in the coming months. In the meantime, you can change your settings to your locally installed documentation and the issue will no longer occur. Instructions in the image below.

The country selector issue should now be fixed. If you close and reopen MATLAB, and encounter any more issues, please let me know.
