Download problem for different versions of Matlab

4 views (last 30 days)
I am able to install and launch MATLAB 2020b without any problems, but when I try to install a previous version (2019) I am hit with this error :
The following error was detected while downloading matlab_code_analyzer/ca_analysis_win64_1563551365.enc:
Wrong number of bytes: Expected 57264, got 50815
Would you like to retry downloading matlab_code_analyzer/ca_analysis_win64_1563551365.enc? If you press No, the installer will exit without completing the installation.
Any reason why ? I tried multiple times, and the problem is consistent.

Hi
Try the following steps to resolve the issue:
  • This error can be caused by an anti-virus or security program interfering with the MATLAB installer. Disable any anti-virus you have running, and then rerun the installer.
  • There may be an issue with the target installation directory. Rerun the installer and specify a new directory that did not previously exist on the system.
  • If you installed a prerelease of MATLAB, remove the existing prerelease installation. Then, rerun the installer.
Hope this helps!
