Why is dual boot installation not working?

I have a sponsored license with total headcount and have been using MATLAB with no issues on linux for a while now. Recently, I needed to use matlab on windows, but whenever I try to open it, I am prompted with the license activation even though it has succeded multiple times (by logging into my account and selecting the license). I even tried to deactivate the linux license and it still doesn't work. What could be wrong here?
