Installed Control Systems Toolbox, can't view or access any functionality, how do I find it?

I have installed the add-on Control Systems Toolbox, and have used var to check that i have it installed and MATLAB up-to-date which is the case. However when i look in the Apps tab, and specificially in Simulink, I am unable to find any of the add-ons. (this is the case in base MATLAB too). Any help would be much appreciated.

When you execute ver command, if you see your toolbox listed and see a license number associated with it, the toolbox may just not have an app. To note, not all products will appear in the APPS tab. Only toolboxes that have an interactive GUI will be displayed.

To view the function list for an add-on, you may perform the following:

1. Select the add-on in the Add-On Manager.

2. In the options menu on the right of the add-on, select View in Add-On Explorer. The Functions tab shows the list of functions included with the add-on.
