Find a simulink model on the PC

Hello guys,

i have to write a function which I give the name of a Simulink model. The function has to give me the path of the Model e.g. C:\Users\Data....

Its import that the function is not inside of the folder where the model is saved!

From my understanding you want to find the full path of a file. Here is a similar question which might help you. Also if you want to use GUI then here is a reference which might help you.
