Capacitor model in Simulink

Hello,

I would like to know how to create thernal port for capacitor to check its temparature? i saw for semiconduuctors ..it is avilable but i did not get for capacitor. can any one guide ?

Hello Ramesh,

As you say, the Capacitor in Simscape library does not support thermal ports, while it does for some other components. I have brought this issue to the concerned people and it might be considered in any future release. Can you share a little more information on what you would like to use the thermal ports for?

i would also like to know when the thermal capacitor is gonna be released, i've modelled a norton theorom equivalent for a motor heat evacuation and need thermal capacitor to furthur build my model.
