Is it possible to specify different extrapolation methods per dimension of a griddedInterpolant? For example, from the Matlab documentation:
[X,Y] = meshgrid(-2:0.75:2);
R = sqrt(X.^2 + Y.^2)+ eps;
V = sin(R)./(R);
[Xq,Yq] = meshgrid(-3:0.2:3);
Vq = interp2(X,Y,V,Xq,Yq,'cubic',0);
Would it be possible to set "0" for the first dimension (X) and "linear" for the second "y"? From the documentation, I know that the direct answer is no, but I'm wondering if anyone has ideas about how best to accomplish this.

No.
The associated code is strictly pcode (.p) or built-in. There is no way to examine the implementation.
