The window's topbar is not showing up correctly.

I recently installed Matlab on my laptop and this is one of my first times using it on this machine, and I noticed that the top bar where you would normally have a minimum and maximum button as well as the close button was not showing up at all. After doing some digging online I came across this thread, https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/513606-matlab-r2019b-no-window-manager-on-ubuntu-18-04 which gave some recommendations, but they do not work. I am not sure what else I can do. I am currently using Pop OS version 20.04 LTS.

I figured out that Pop Os has an option in the settings that hides the window top bars, which is what was causing my issue. The option must have been turned off somehow. I found the option in Extensions > Pop Shell > Show Window Tiles.
