Problam with surf command

How can I plot surface y(x,z) instead z(x,y)? Actually, I want to do something like surf(x,z,y(x,z)), instead surf(x,y,z(x,y)) which is default option.

I cannot manipulate data because I already have a lot of plots on the same graph.
