Ubuntu Linux and Matlab dual monitor issues

Hi,

I run ubuntu 12.04 and Matlab R2012b. I use dual monitors for my work.

An annoying issue I have been facing is when I right click on my right monitor, the options menu that comes up is always on my left monitor.

My take on the issue is that Matlab has internally set my left monitor to be the default monitor and the window that pops up on right click appears within the bounds of the default monitor. I would rather say that this is a bug.

Is there a way around this? Can I change some settings to get rid of this issue?
