what happens if i write just plot(x) aginst a product of an equation like x=a*b. will it work or will it show error like no y axis specified. I used something like this to plot an x and y functions. I accidently forgot to write the y axis values in my code and to my surprise it showed the correct plot. instead the values i needed in the x axis it showed some huge numbers like in the order of 10^6.

If you don't pass in two inputs, it will assume the input is the y values, and will plot them against their index number. You can read more in the documentation.
