How to remove Raisins dry fruit from the picture?

Hi There, From other tasks that have to be done is to remove raisins from picture in matlab code. I have no clue how to do this. This is my first MATLAB on image processing becuase its not my filed, but this course was assigned forcefully becuase others course needed labs and uni are online now days

Please anybody can help specially @Image Analyst.

What does "remove" mean to you exactly? Images must remain rectangular. You can't have "holes" with missing pixels in an image.

Did you try the Color Thresholder app on the apps tab of the tool ribbon? You can identify dark brown things and turn them white. Give it a try first.

Sir first of all, It couldn't happen that i dont take your advice. I will listen more to you and follow your instructions then my professor ho is tutoring us with no prior knowledge.

yes I took this approach, and removed the raisns but your code seems more refined

Is there any way we can replace those missing pixels of Raisins? Like to make image look more cool

I replaced them with white. What color do you want to replace them with? If you want to "smear" in the surrounding values, you could use the function regionfill().

Yes exactly to smear with surroinding values. Will give a try on regionfill()function and will uodate you accordingly.

Its perfect removal, just need to add touch to final picture to get better visuals.
