open folder in workspace problem

hi everybody,

how can i open folder in the workspace not use openvar function? please help me!

 (folder size large for example 1x47200)

Please clarify what you mean by "open folder in the workspace"? What result do you expect, in which window?

How about the cd() function:

filebrowser; % Display current folder panel.
cd('c:\users\oguzhan'); % Or whatever folder you want.

You can use the system() command if you want to run an operating system command.

thanks but,

I want to open the file and watch the values in current directory but the size of the file you want to open a very large and matlab can not do this operation and shuts down.

How do I open the file not using matlab?
