hi, i have a problem to solve, i have to find the electric filed all over in this picture. i have divided in three areas from above to bottom, in 1, 2 and 3 (1 is y=h until y=a+d, 2 is y=a+d until y=a, and 3 is y=a until y=0). The field is independent from x and z. I have found the equations, as there are pictured below, but i dont know how to put them in matlab in order to find the electril field lines and the plot. Any ideas? thanks in advance

Hi Dimitris,
You can go throught the links provided for math equations in matlab and partial differential equations to understand how that can be done, and you can first attempt to run examples then it would be easy to solve your equations.
