How to prepare data for using in 'svmclassify'?

1 view (last 30 days)
I am working on classification of images based my features extracted from wavelet transform of my images. I have computed the mean and energy of the two class of images. For each image I have about 6 feature values. ie., mean and energy of the detail subimages of wavelet transform. Totally I have 5 images in each class. I have extracted features from all the 10 images. I donot know how to feed my features to svm for training and testing?

Its simple... you need to put the 6 features in each column and the images in row.. just save it in .mat.. u can load the data and run the program... in same manner u can load data for testing also the testing data shd nt be included in ur traning data.. so tat u can knw the performance..
u need to provide the target in column matrix.. ie(n*1) where n is the number of images u have...
.. hope u understand
