Problem with Plot windows

Hello,
I have a problem with my plot windows in Matlab. When I plot something, lets say, a sine wave curve or any other plot, my plot window appears but then it stays white (Matlab hangs) and then after sometime the plot appears. For example, if my simulation takes 5 seconds, the plot takes more time than that. On average it takes 8 seconds to appear.
I was using 2018 version, I faced the problem, then I upgraded to 2020. Still the same problem.
My system specs: I am using an i-7 with 16 GB RAM, and 3.6 GHz CPU.
Even if I open a saved .fig. It still takes 7 8 seconds. Is there a way to sovle this problem?

It could be because of large data sets you are using to plot. Have you tried with a smaller data set and still observe the same problem?

NO, its not because of the data sets.
I have tried the same .fig on my laptop, which has 8 GB RAM, it opens as soon as I drag the same .fig into the command window.
It did not help. Thanks though.
