Copy a plot into word without loosing quality

8 views (last 30 days)
Hi there,
Could anybody advise me on how to copy a plot from matlab into a word document and keep a good quality format?
When I choose 'copy figure' and paste into word the quality is not good.
I put together an example here https://dl.dropbox.com/u/54057365/All/help.JPG Appreciate any comments.
Regards

Print the diagram to a EPS file:
print FigureHandle -depsc2
This looks bad on the screen, because you see the pixel-preview only, but when printed to paper or a PDF the vector-image is used, such that the result is very sharp and clear.

Try this
figure;
[X,Y] = meshgrid(-8:.5:8);
R = sqrt(X.^2 + Y.^2) + eps;
Z = sin(R)./R;
mesh(Z);
saveas(gca,'filename.tif')
