Publish script using AppDesigner

Hi,

Im working with app designer and save all the information under app properties.

While trying to Publish a report (using publish command) it yields the following error: Unable to resolve the name app.VaribleName

It seems that the script im trying to run have no access to the relevant app varible.

Hi,

There isn’t a direct option to publish code in app designer, but it can be achieved by converting the app(.mlapp) into (.m) file and then publishing.

To convert, select save and then select Export to .m file and then publish the exported ‘.m’ file with the below command

outputDocument = publish('demo_exported.m','pdf'); 

Publish function expects matlab code(.m file) as parameter.
