How to improve visualization in SimMechanics Generation1 ?

Dear Matlab/Simulink users,
I've been working for some time now on SimMechanics Generation 1. The motions are working good in my model. Now i want to visualize this model so it looks more like a real system instead of just lines doing the motion. I know the possibility for convex hulls, however, most of my objects are cylindrical types or curved objects.
Is there a way to get for example a visualization of a cylinder in generation 1 with a convex hull? Preferably without using STL files.
Hope to hear from you! Kind regards,
Huub

The visualization in First Generation technology is very primitive. It is highly recommended you use Second Generation technology, where you have many options for visualization.
