Hello,
We are distributing MATLAB Runtime with our product. The IT department of one of our customers detected the JAVA JRE is installed/present in the installation folder for MATLAB Runtime. As you know, Oracle doesn't allow JRE for commercial use without a license anymore. Could you please advise what should be the correct procedure for distributing the MATLAB Runtime?
Thank you!

Not exactly correct. The restrictions are based upon version of JRE. My understanding is that Mathworks stuck with the last version of JRE before the new license terms and so the new license does not apply.

Thank you. That is correct, however without license no updates are available so the IT department will not be able to apply any patches, having a computer on the network running a potentially vulnerable application.
