plot bar graph in the same graph

I have a bar graph. I would plot in the same bar graph another bar graph with excatly the same values without overriding the existing graph but plotting it together using different colors. What it happens when I replot the same graph it is I get the existing graph overrided by the newest

Plot the two bar graphs together at the same time:

bar([1 2],[1 2;pi exp(1)])

yeah it worked but I would get this result using gui plot that Matlab provides
