On installation of Matlab R2020a I got a message, that the Matlab- and the Simulink Coder needs a supported compiler.
I have a VisualStudio 2019 installed on my machine, so I assume that the installer doesn't detect it by some reasons. Is there any way to configure Matlab afterwards to use the VisualStudio Compiler?

The installation process makes no effort to find a support compiler: it just tells the user that one will be needed.
To configure the compiler,
mex -setup
mex -setup C++
