When i import the stl file for an assembly into virtual reality , the assembly inside virtual reality is like one object, when i want to apply some motions on it , it only could been on the whole object , i cant access the joins or parts inside the assembly.
How could i fix it?
in other word , importing a full assembly which have many relations and parts into virtual reality as stl file convert it into one part for all and that will effect on the visualization so , if i want to add a translation motion or rotation it will be for the whole assembly not a choosen part and that is wrong
please if anyone have tried to import and animatie a full assembly with many parts and different motions for different parts to contact me .

Open the wrl or x3d files with notepad or x3d-edit.
If the object has no children groups or transforms, if it is a single transform with IndexedFaceSet geometry etc.
There is not much thing you can do.
It is a single solid object.
