Hi! I have tons and tons of MRI images of the mouse brain from different mice and I want to make an application to automatically detect and extract the brain. Each mouse has slices across the axial and coronal (as attached).
I've tried a bunch of segmentation methods and have started looking into training a network because I couldn't find somethig that worked across sample. Does anyone have any suggestions?

See my attached skull stripping demo and adapt as needed. However with that image, the skull is not bright white surrounding everything so I'm not sure how well it will strip off the thin gray outer shell.
