UIgetdir() in compiled MATLAB code opens window but stays reduced in taskbar

I have a uigetdir() command in my compiled code. that when I press a pushbutton , a window should open in front of my app window to choose the wd, it opens up but stays in the taskbar and the user would not notice that window, and by clicking on the app window, a bump sound is played as another window should be closed that is the already open window. how to resolve this ?
